Spooner Advocate- Springbrook Column- December 11, 2014

Good morning! We are experiencing a little snow out there. At least we are not getting a ton of it.

I hope this finds people happily getting ready for the Christmas holiday. I know that it can be a very stressed time of the year. If you are experiencing being overwhelmed, sad or depression please reach out for help. There are so many things that can set a person off and make whatever problem seem huge and overwhelming. Depression is not something to be ashamed of! I know personally we have recently gone through three suicide attempts and it is horrible. If you know of someone who has depression or needs some help please gently but firmly help them get the help that they need.

Are you a quilter? Remember that the Hayward Piecemakers Quilt Club meets once a month on the second Monday at the Hayward Wesleyan Church at 10 a.m. This is a NEW location- they use to meet at the library in Hayward.
